FIETZBALL / GUIDE & FAQ
One ball. Three challenges.
Discover Infinite, Adventure and the Zombie survival preview. Explore the latest 10-world, 1,000-stage expansion, new cosmetic trophies and escalating waves. Availability depends on the installed build; preview features are not necessarily in the App Store version.
Expansion preview · 28 October 2026. The new 1,000-stage catalog is available in external TestFlight 1.1.3 (148) and Android Preview 28, alongside recent gameplay, leaderboard and interface changes. The App Store version may differ. Check the release notes of your installed build. Existing progress and purchases are retained.
Expansion & recent changes
How do Zombie rounds work?
Knock the enemy balls off the platform to finish each wave. Rounds continue without a fixed final round, with short moving transitions and a rebuilt platform. Early waves stay gentle; later waves add larger groups and heavier enemies. A colossus appears every fifth round. In the expansion, rotating blades appear from round 8, except recovery waves, and threaten enemies too. Concurrency is capped to control performance; difficulty does not grow by spawning unlimited bodies.
Are there power-ups or real opponents in Zombie?
This version uses bots with zombie skins, not live online opponents. There are no collectible heart drops or random power-ups in this ruleset. Larger monsters resist knockback more than small enemies. The HUD shows round and kills, and double/triple eliminations appear below the platform.
When are ads shown?
Forced interstitials become eligible after two finished Infinite games, four Adventure deaths, or two finished Zombie games, with separate counters and at least 45 seconds between ads across modes. Availability and foreground checks may delay or skip an ad. A rewarded-video Continue avoids an additional forced ad for that game. FietzBall Plus removes forced ads; optional rewarded videos remain available.
How is the Zombie leaderboard ordered?
By highest round reached, then kills for that result. It is separate from Infinite, Worlds and old Knockout results. Online synchronization is required to publish a result; cached standings may not yet include the latest game.
Will the expansion erase my saves?
No reset is planned. Completed stages and earned purchases remain on the account. New layouts use their own personal timing revision; an older time is not passed off as a record for a changed route. Let the original installation synchronize before changing devices, and do not uninstall to troubleshoot a pending sync.
What changed in Infinite courses and hazards?
Infinite keeps its circular-platform identity, with shuffled layouts, different starting directions, moving obstacles and more route combinations within rising difficulty bands. Adventure uses shaped routes. Rotating blades, lava, ice and fragile floors mix the challenges without changing the cosmetics’ physics.
Are starting and replaying faster?
The deliberate splash wait has been halved and the 3–2–1 sequence now takes about 1.5 seconds, once calibration is ready. Scene preparation, previews and effects have been optimized to reduce stalls. This is not a guarantee of identical loading times on every device. Hold your device steady until calibration finishes.
What changed in the menus, Store and leaderboard?
Home balances the player’s Stars and hearts. Pause menus use consistent typography and buttons; results use compact, centred scores and clear Continue choices. Prepared collection previews avoid overlapping balls. The leaderboard has Infinite, Worlds and Zombie tabs, with cached results while new data refreshes; a first online load still depends on the connection.
How is player activity recorded and who can see it?
The owner-only player directory records account creation, last observed access, progress and available game history. Active-in-24-hours users are sorted by most recent access. Details open from the name. Missing older data stays unknown. This private directory is not visible to other players or published on the site.
What changed in analytics and ad reporting?
The owner’s analytics interface is simpler, with direct player history and fewer redundant sections. Ad reporting shows recorded impressions, rewarded versus interstitial formats, measured display time and SDK-estimated revenue where available. It does not distinguish video from image ads. Display time is measured from opening to closing, not proof of attention; estimated revenue is not a confirmed payout, and missing values remain unknown. These administrative reports are restricted to the owner; no player data is published on this website.
Playing & progressing
Can I play on iPad?
Yes. FietzBall supports iPhone and iPad, with a full-screen portrait layout on iPad. It requires iOS or iPadOS 18 or later. If tilt control behaves unexpectedly, pause, hold the device still in your playing position and resume; report the device model and build if the problem persists.
What is Adventure?
The expansion has 10 worlds and 1,000 stages, 100 per world. It adds Abyss, Factory, Desert and Cosmos, with new backgrounds and cosmetic rewards. Existing worlds gain new route families after their opening tutorials; the new worlds mix 20 route shapes with keys, gates, collapsing sections and other obstacles. Reach the target hole within the stage’s time limit. Earlier builds may still contain six worlds.
How is Infinite different?
Infinite keeps round platforms and shuffled challenges for repeatable score chasing. Adventure follows fixed, shaped routes with separate stages and personal completion times. Zombie is an endless wave-based ring-out survival mode against bots, not online multiplayer.
Does an Adventure level change when I retry?
No. A given world and level has the same layout and obstacle setup on every attempt in the same course version. Level 57 in world 1 is always that level, not a random reroll. A future update may introduce a revised course.
What happens if I fall on level 54?
You can retry level 54 without replaying levels 1–53. The updated app synchronizes Adventure progress with your FietzBall account and keeps a local safety copy for offline play. Each new level has its own countdown, based on its route and obstacles. Adventure retries do not spend heart tokens.
How do I control the ball?
Tilt your iPhone or iPad gently. Hold it steady during the quicker 3–2–1 starting countdown in both modes to set a comfortable neutral position. After a pause or return from the background, let calibration finish before moving.
What do lava, ice and other obstacles do?
Lava coats the ball in fire: reach the target hole before the heat timer expires. The preview uses broader molten patches and a visible heat indicator, in both Infinite and Adventure. Ice coats the ball visibly and reduces grip for about four seconds after contact; steer early because momentum carries it farther. Rotating blades appear on selected platforms: touching one ends the attempt. Fans push you, rainbow strips accelerate you, keys open locked holes, and spring pads help you cross barriers.
What does Perfect mean?
Enter close to the centre of the target hole to score a Perfect. Consecutive Perfect drops build a combo. The preview makes the central target more forgiving and adds a stronger hole-entry burst, sound and optional vibration. Perfect and Star rewards stay centred above the platform.
Will the screen turn off while I play?
The preview keeps the screen awake during active gameplay and calibration. Normal screen behaviour resumes when the app leaves play or goes into the background. You can still lock your device manually.
Which holes should I avoid?
The round target hole advances you. Red danger holes end the attempt. Fragile floor cracks under the ball and can collapse: cross it promptly and avoid the opening after it gives way. In updated Infinite, broken edges distinguish the collapse from the target. Stars mark rewards, not a second exit.
Are there Stars in Adventure?
No. Adventure focuses on completing stages and improving times. Collect Stars in Infinite. In the preview, Star milestones unlock balls automatically in order without spending the balance.
Records & leaderboards
Does Adventure have a leaderboard?
The Worlds tab ranks overall Adventure progress: player, world number and furthest level. It is separate from Infinite score and Zombie round/kill standings. Personal stage times remain separate, and revised layouts keep separate timing records rather than comparing unlike courses.
What counts as a personal record?
In Adventure, completing the same stage faster than your previous best improves your personal record. You do not need to beat every other player. Your personal best and your online position are different things.
Will my Adventure map follow me to another iPhone or iPad?
Yes, with the updated app: completion and personal best times synchronize with your FietzBall account. First open the update on the device that holds your existing progress and let it synchronize online. Then sign in to the same account on the other device. Offline changes wait locally and retry automatically. Accounts remain separate after logout or an account switch. Do not delete the old installation before its first successful synchronization; unavailable old progress cannot be reconstructed.
Collection, Stars & Continues
Do different balls give an advantage?
Balls are cosmetic: free designs, Star milestones, world trophies and premium skins all use the same player physics. Classic remains free. Hearts can continue eligible Infinite or Zombie games; a purchased skin does not make the ball faster or heavier.
What changed in the ball collection?
Coral, Pulse, Cobalt, Earth, Moon, Basketball and Football no longer appear in the updated collection; if one was equipped, Classic replaces it. Existing account receipts and balances are preserved. Other legacy designs remain visible to their existing owners. The display order is Classic, Mint, Sunset, 8 Ball, Plasma, Aurora, Chrome, Crystal, Galaxy, world trophies and other owned legacy world designs, then multicolour Nova. The configured euro prices are €0.99 for Chrome, €1.99 for Crystal, €2.99 for Galaxy and €3.99 for FietzBall Plus including Nova; the Apple purchase confirmation shows the actual price for your region. Crystal now has coloured facets and an inner gem. Decorative guide rings and dashes have been removed, without changing the character of the remaining designs. These visual changes do not alter prices or ball physics.
How does the new Star path work?
Balls unlock automatically in this order: Mint at 500 Stars, Sunset at 2,000, 8 Ball at 5,000, Plasma at 8,000 and Aurora at 12,000. These are total milestones, not separate prices: reaching one does not deduct Stars or restart the counter. In Infinite, the gold counter shows the next ball and your progress, such as 2799/5000. Existing ownership records are preserved; removed designs are not shown in the updated collection.
Do Star packs still count?
Yes. The 200, 700 and 1,600 Star packs are unchanged. Stars credited from purchases add to Stars earned by playing and count toward the same automatic path. For example, 350 earned Stars plus a 200-Star pack gives you 550 Stars: Mint unlocks and all 550 Stars remain toward your next reward. No ball purchase button is needed. A pack adds its stated number of Stars; it does not promise an unlock unless you reach the next milestone. Check the App Store confirmation for the local price.
What do I earn by completing a world?
Finish all 100 levels in a world to earn its cosmetic ball: Canopy—Vertigo; Glacier—Absolute Zero; Magma—Inferno; Tempest—Tempest; Relic—Citadel; Eclipse—Eclipse. The expansion adds Nautilus—Abyss, Alloy—Factory, Scarab—Desert and Pulsar—Cosmos. Rewards synchronize with your account. They change appearance, not control or physics.
What do the hearts and video symbols beside a record mean?
In Infinite, ♥ ×2 means two heart-token Continues were used in the run that set that record. ▶ ×1 means one rewarded-video Continue. They are not the player’s remaining balance. A later worse or tied run does not change them. Older records may have no recorded Continue history, so a missing symbol alone does not prove an unaided run.
What is FietzBall Plus?
A one-time purchase that removes forced ads and includes the exclusive neon Nova ball with a multicolour comet trail and golden hole-entry effect. Preview it in Store. There is no subscription. Optional rewarded videos remain available, and Continue tokens are sold separately. Existing Remove Ads owners receive these benefits after account synchronization; do not buy it again. The App Store confirmation shows the actual local price.
What are the hearts for?
Hearts are Continue tokens, not lives required to start. Infinite allows up to two token Continues in an eligible run. Zombie allows one Continue in a game, choosing either one heart or an available rewarded video, preserving round and kills. Adventure retries do not spend hearts. A missing balance can open Store, never purchase automatically.
Why is no video ad available?
A rewarded Continue is optional and depends on ad availability, connection and verification. The preview preloads ads when possible, but a video is not guaranteed on every attempt and its length depends on the ad provider. FietzBall Plus (formerly Remove Ads) disables forced ads, not the optional rewarded Continue.
What does Restore Purchases restore?
Use Settings → Restore Purchases for eligible premium balls and FietzBall Plus (including previous Remove Ads purchases) bought with the same Apple account. Use the FietzBall account associated with the purchase. Star and Continue-token packs are consumables: they are credited once, not granted again by restoring.
My purchase has not appeared. What should I do?
Do not buy the same pack again to try to fix it. Check your connection and that you are using the correct FietzBall account, then contact support with the item, approximate time and any error message. Never send your password or full payment details.
Account & help
What do Offline and Sync paused mean?
Offline means the app cannot reach online services; supported local progress stays on this device. Sync paused means an online synchronization has not completed, not that your progress was necessarily lost. Restore your connection, reopen the app and allow it to synchronize. If it persists, contact support with your build and a screenshot. Do not reinstall or reset your account as a first step.
I cannot sign in or create an account.
Read the message below the field that needs attention. Check the email address, password requirements and matching confirmation. For a missing confirmation or recovery email, check spam. Use the same sign-in method as before.
What should I include in a bug report?
Send your iPhone or iPad model, iOS or iPadOS version, FietzBall version and build, what you were doing, and a screenshot or short recording. Mention the mode, world and stage when relevant. Never include a password.
Where can I change reminders or delete my account?
Open Settings to manage reminders, sound, vibration and language. Delete Account is also in Settings and requires confirmation. It removes your FietzBall account, not your Apple account.
